Alatonero wedding of Rebecca and Marcus
Rebecca and Marcus put together such a wonderful wedding day for their guests. These two foodies certainly know their way around Mornington Peninsulas restaurant scene with Marcus being a chef and the couple settling upon Alatonero for both their ceremony and reception. Alatonero is such gorgeous venue, set directly across the street from one of Port Phillip bays whitest sand beaches. Perfect for beach location wedding photos- We just love this gorgeous McCrae beach setting! With the ceremony and reception being held within a short walk from each other guests were able to park their cars and enjoy a chat and leisurely stroll between the days events. Meeting the boys and girls prior to the ceremony it was lovely to see the couples families playing such a large roll on the day - not only providing moral support but also accompanying the couples two beautiful children between houses so that they could see both parents before Rebecca walked down the aisle. Rebecca and Marcus were also fortunate enough to have close friend and celebrant Nikki Currie officiate their wedding. Following the ceremony we had a short walk along the beach with bridal party while we captured a few photographs before the sunset across the bay. All to soon the wonderful Alatonero staff found us and helped the bridal party across the street to show us the magic that they had put together for the night ahead-of course it looked amazing! Rebecca and Marcus opted to arrive a little early so that they were able to greet guests as they arrived at their wedding reception - the roving canapés were a wonderful touch on arrival and are always a great way for guests to mingle and get to know each other before being seated for the main meals and the formal parts of the evening.
